Hello, I would really like to get this as a physical book to use for a library program. Is there any idea when print will be available again?

I have no plans to reprint the original hardcover but Parsely will return to print as a series of paperback collections of the original games, as well as at least 4-5 new ones.

Nice! Is there a timeline for this?

not really. Maybe by December?

happy/sad face. Thanks for the information though! I am very interested in trying this game. the reviews all look excellent and as a player of the old text based games, I am very interested in trying our Parsely!

Check out the preview edition! I put it up during COVID so people could play over ZOOM and I've kept it available:

I'm a high school teacher in Ontario, and a few years ago I bought this game (not from itch.io; I'll leave this review on DTRPG, too) knowing that it would be really easy to use it in the classroom. I have a lot of games that I use, to teach about collaborative storytelling, about genre, and about alternative texts. Games are great for students, in lots of ways, including some I never thought they might be.. I have a student with selective mutism--he never says ANYTHING at school. I began the semester playing Parsely, and when we play, he talks. He participates. And later, he was able to give me an oral presentation.

I think this game made that possible. Thank you.

Thank you for checking it out! I've gotten similar emails over the years about kids with MBDD and how Parsely has helped them participate and join in with their classmates, and teachers all over the US using Parsely to teach logic, computer programming and game design. Warms my cold black heart, it does.

Thank you, Jared! I love Parsely so much and was happy to find this and additional adventures for purchase on itch. My Parsely hardcover has received a lot of attention over the last few years.

Anyone who enjoys classic text adventures should check this game out. It effectively translates that experience so it can be appreciated without being stuck staring at a computer screen. Also, it's just really fun!

Hey, thanks! I appreciate that.
